The tricky bolt is on the manifold all the way left......it's just cramped. Use a 12mm box wrench and tap it with a hammer What header you get? I'm in MD but i'd help. ![]() I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. A.E. |

The megan header has the bottom mounts to bolt to the stock brackets.......I'd use them if you don't have an engine damper....they keep the header from cracking with excess engine movement. The Megan header will improve your low to mid HP/tq range but be somewhat choking in top end. You'll enjoy your 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear though ![]() I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. A.E. |

Check the profiles around the site............we all have our own style and desires for our car so check the cars out and ask around. I've got mine with sleeper style so check the parts out....there's others on here too ![]() I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. Nah, those came out quick and easy for me. I used my impact gun to put them back in so they are really tight but taking them out I used hand tools. If you have access to an impact gun, I highly recommend using it before you round the bolt off if you slip. ![]() I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. WD-40 works fine, but if you want real results use penetrating oil. Works much faster and is just generally better at the job than WD. Also, when i was a mechanic as a rule of thumb we always installed any exhaust bolts with some anti seize on them. That way if in the future you gotta work here again, you'll thank yourself. As far as spring loaded bolts being a pain to get off - they are often just that. Hose em down with penetrating oil, wait a few minutes, and get after it with an air ratchet if you have one, if not just go to town with hand tools. ![]() ![]() |
