unless you have an amp connected onto the stock speakers there is no way you can blow the speakerss

there is no way to blow them with the stock radio but if you change to a new head unit you can possibly blow them. I have gone through about 2 sets of speakers with my pioneer head unit.

thats a decision that you will have to make on your own. i'm not here to sway you one way or another because i think people should personalize their stuff how and when they want to. thats what makes each of us tuners different.

only way to change ur sub levels from inside the car would be to get a new head unit or a bass control knob but those are gay as hell and look bad. i got a new head unit and speakers and there louder than stock and the only thing ive blown are my subs lol

you can mount a control knob pretty stealth though, ive seen some creative places. if it were me deciding between tints or speakers i would def go with tint first. IMO for a $17000ish car the 6 speaker system isnt too bad esp. once you start playing with the different settings. thats just me though, if youre really into high end audio then id say speakers but im content with my 2 infinity subs, my panasonic tv, and the stock speakers for right now

that is a false statement lol. if u set the gain to high on the AMPLIFIER u can blow ur subs. even with the stock radio, u can also blow ur factory speakers and aftermarket speakers.

the stock interior speakers aren't THAT bad. i mean, they are Pioneer. I have mine still and they play fine.

I would put the money towards tint.

it would be very hard to blow up the interior speakers with the stock HU. Unless you had all the bass/treble settings up to max, and then turned the volume all the way up (so you get distortion or clipping) for an extended period of time.

all u need to run subs off a stock headunit is 'line output converter' to run rca's from the HU to an amplifier of your choice.

tune like how? you already have them wired and powered, etc..?

set the gain on the amp to zero, then set the volume on the HU to about 1/2-3/4.

slowly turn up the gain on the amp until the subs' output level matches the playing level of the interior speakers. ie. turn the gain up until the subs play almost as loud as they possibly can without distorting.
