I was on my way to work this morning and I noticed as I accelerated to pass, this 99 Honda Civic EX was trying to match my speed. I had no intention of showing off, nor did I want to race.

I'm at 65mph in 5th and I drop down to 4th and blow him away...his car was stock and I'm thinking, "WTF was he thinking?"

He kept on trying to prove something the whole way, I was at 60(in a 55 zone) mph and all I had to do was tap my gas pedal to get the jump on him even when I'm in 5th gear. This guy was WAY out of his league.

I let him go and he kept on ahead at 80mph. Eventually I meet him at a red light and when it turns green, he's flooring it. I blow past him serious this time just to show him he's got a ZERO chance of even being at my level. So I level off at 55mph (speed limit) nd he speeds past me at about 90mph... I don't get it.

^That was called a ricer blow-by. Ricers tend to be sore losers and after they get smoked by a faster car, they wait for their opponent to let off the gas and floor it past them. That way they can feel that they beat their opponent

haha, I beat an Oldsmobile Bravada today .....my lane ended after the light around 100 yards and when the light turned, he gunned it. I knew he was going to b/c he started creeping up when the other light was turning yellow. I punched it and slipped a bit b/c it was a little wet from the melting ice, but then I caught and pulled. Popped 2nd and locked it perfectly to catch his front bumper and by mid to closing in on 3rd, I had about 1.25 car lengths on him and jumped into his lane ......he was a dick so I cut him off good.

Well, not really a race but more of me annoying this guy . For those of you saying you've run a 350 and held pretty close, now I believe it. We were on I-70 towards baltimore and I've been following this guy for about 20 minutes. He had a black 350Z and just washed it so it looked HOT!...nice rims too. He notices that I'm tailing him (about 3-4 lengths back) so I see his rear end squat and he starts to pull. I just wanted to be an ass and try so I went for it. For the next 4-5 miles, we went through light-moderate traffic (nothing big b/c it's sunday morning) and he couldn't lose me .

The most he got was about 4 lengths away but that's it. He kept checking his mirrors and looking back and I just popped out from other cars and was right back on him .

I passed him and he looked over and just turned away again . He had slowed down and gotten over in the right lane so I just cruised past him at the speed limit. NO RICER FLYBY HERE.

That was fun.

now do u believe me when i said i beat a few g35's????? they are faster on the straight aways and they will stay in front...but with superior driving skills...you can beat them with light to moderately heavy traffic.....nice run tho...definitly fun to mess wit the "big dogs" as they consider themselves lol

i dont know but i think the si is under estimated... i thought it would lose badly to the eclipse gt... but you know what i think.. the power to weight ratio is a big factor

that makes me think...if the tc was about 100-200lbs lighter, it would be pretty quick. i mean at 2905 it does 15.4-15.7 for the m/t, shed a few hundred by using CF, taking the back seats out, replacing the glass paneling roof with some kinda kevlar/cf (its been done) will make us pretty dam quick...im not worried about adding more power anymore, just taking away weight. CF hood, replacing heavy OEM parts with aftermarket...it all helps. just a lil thought
