But yeah, they are definitely cars that could stand to lose some weight. JPC (Justin's Performance Center) right behind my work has a driveshaft in their shop they constructed that weighs 6-8 lbs!!! I was amazed at how light it was and that could make a HUGE difference in power delivery to the differential. Stock driveshafts on pre 01 mustangs are close to 25+ lbs of long, awkward weight.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

I'll call this one a LOSS/WIN

So I'm on I-85 just minding my own business when I see a flashy S2000 (red with CF hood + dropped + custom dual exhaust) speeding to my rear and he just rides side by side with me revving. So I look ever and the douche and his friend are just laughing and I've got my cruise control set at + 10 over the limit.

I look over and give the guys the signal that I don't want to go. (because I know better than to race an S2K)

So he speeds off and revs his sh^t super loud.

(seriously, why bother?)

I think for now I'm going to keep taking on anyone that challenges me even if it is a mismatch because I need the experience. I learned from that crappy Civic Si even though I had him outgunned.

Those the kind of people I like racing the most. Cause they just roll up next to me instead of passing me up a little to see the fmic in the grill. So, they don't know it's boosted.

I raced a bone stock tC last night

I was driving a 94 Integra RS, bone stock performance wise.
The other guy just looked like a bone stock tC all together.

We were at a stop light and he asked if I wanted to race (go figure, someone asking instead of revving the shit out of there car.) So I said sure, we'll go on green.

Light turns green, we launch!!!!!! weeeeeeeeeeeee (cause most stock cars sound like pissed off mopeds when trying to go fast)

I actually get the launch on the guy and pull a fender away from him, slam into 2nd gear just about the same time he does, but man he chirped 2nd pretty good. I still got the fender lead, neither of us are really gaining or losing ground. 3rd gear shift, he is still a fender behind me............ after I realize nothing is gonna happen after this point I just brake and slow down.

As he drives by he gives me the thumbs down?!

Oh well, it was fun, I haven't raced in the Integra in a long time

No idea, never run it at a track before. Its bone stock Integra performance wise. But I've read that the factory RS/LS can run anywhere from 15.5-17+ depending on the driver.

Similar, but slower. Similar is more like a GSR Teggy.

Anyone race a h22 'lude? I was speeding through traffic and a 95-ish prelude was following me and drove beside me looking like he wanted to play but I wasn't in the mood.

on my way to work in the morning a 97 mustang gt cut me off, so i decided to tail gate him. Any stock mustang gt before 2001 was a joke. They were slow as balls. Way to hang with a v8, though! I'd feel good...

you mean before '99, in '99 and after they began to use different heads.

They are not fast. Don't need F/I to beat one.

around there. he has smoked type s's and new si's and gets about 3 lengths on me. not gonna lie, their vtec in the h22 is rediculous, he does have a stage 1 clutch and lightweight flyhweel with intake and exhaust just for sound. spins through vtec in 1st and most of 2nd.

They run the same times as a stock tC, it's a drivers race.

1994 Honda Prelude VTEC 7.2 15.1
1995 Honda Prelude VTEC 6.7 15.1
1999 Honda Prelude 6.8 15.4
2000 Honda Prelude 6.8 15.4

I got those numbers from a 1/4 mile site for stock vehicles. LOL...at needing F/I to beat a prelude. You don't need nothing but good driving.

That's not exactly stock bro. And I/E on a Honda > I/E on a tC. Their motors respond to N/A mods a lot better than the tC does. Stock vs Stock, they are the same in 1/4 mile performance.

So I'm driving down I-40 last night on my way to the river and two cars come crawling up my ass... The first car don't know what it is the second is a tc so I pull up next to him just to cruise and I hear him down shift.. So I drop into 3rd and we start going at it..... He gets me at first than I start pulling and pulling and passing and passing until I get about 10 cars ahead of him doing about 120 and he finally flashes at me and quits.... Its was a good run I had to show the arizona boy how us cali boys do it.... Hahaha......
