You should see my boy Munch's Caliber SRT-4. Stage 2, making 375 WHP. Sick!

Munch now drives a caliber....yuk. Even if it had 500whp, it's still yuk. Would much rather take an Neon SRT-4 @ 375whp than a Caliber at 375whp.

The other day I had a 1996ish Acura Integra cut me off on the freeway, I was pissed I stayed behind him until we got through the traffic, then he went over a lane and he honked three times and I dropped to third, by 85 I was passing him a little (I'm sad to say this part) so we keep going and I hit 110 and pulled just enough to get in front of him he laid on the horn and flew into the lane next to me. I said, ok lets keep going and stayed on it until I got to a off ramp, I could see him flipping me off as he almost hit the truck in front of him (the reason I got off, traffic), but after he honk he never got in front of me!!!

Okay you can now flame me for driving stupid! (I knew I shouldn't but when I get mad some times I can't control me self)

My buddy just got a 93 bodied style civic with a B18-C5 swap in it. Which is a Type R motor.. So he was running his mouth at me talkin about my tc is slow, cuz when he had his corolla i barely beat him. Mind you he didnt know i had juice. So i played it off. We went from like a 40, three honks. We both gassed it. I beat him by i'd say a car in a half. I was using a 65shot. This time i had perfect bottle pressure. His car is a total sleeper. It looks like a base model civic with a muffler on it..

I raced my boy in his 06 SS cobalt the other night. We got next to each other at a like at 2 in the morning so we decided to go. I worked him off the line, had him by about a car and a half untill shortly after i shifted into 3rd, then he just rolled right Even tho i lost i was surprised to see the tc ahead for while

chalk this one up as a loss for me (I knew it would be)

So I'm on my way to Best Buy yesterday to return an item and the lanes are closing down to 1 and I look in my rear view and I see a Subaru Impreza WRX coming up to my bumper and I figure he's going to race to the close.

^just like this but black

I knew I would lose, but I figure I'd make him work for his place and I down shift to 3rd and floor it. Of course even if his vehicle was stock he still would have owned me, but I heard a mean sounding whoosh and the sound of a backfiring custom exhaust.

After he easily pulled to the lead he totally shuts down and hits his brakes in such way that blocks me from going anywhere, so I'm like, "okay, I'll just slow down and get behind him, no prob"

I wasn't going to be all ricer about it, but the S.O.B. decides he's going to go the exact speed limit, maybe he thought that would fry an egg on my head.. (I kept 2 car lengths behind him the whole time)

So come time to exit turn lane to get to Best Buy and the dick totally let off his gas and is just coasting to be a douche.

I needed to turn so I took the opening for the turn lane as quickly as I could just in case he was going to try and block me again doing the same shit. He gave no indication that he was going to turn.

So maybe he thought I was doing the ricer blow by, but I was really just trying to get to Best Buy.

So then I see he has sharply maneuvered to be behind me and he's riding my ass. So I decided to grandma drive in 2nd because I'm really in no mood for having him on my bumper, he had a whole lane to get by me if he wanted to pass.

I could read his lips and he was cussing as he quickly took the next right into a store plaza. (I'm pretty sure he didn't need to go my way)

If you own a car (in a drag) great, but don't keep being a douche, I never tail gated or honked or anything, he just wanted to be a dick.

Still a decent run. It sucks when people gotta be a dick. Well, apparently he was just confused. But thats no reason to tailgate, haha.

I was in my moms ford escape(i know laugh it up) i ran with a 2005 civic EX with a intake, I lost because we were on a 2 lane road, and i couldnt get around him because of passing cars. We got up to 70 then turned off at a school. not very exciting.

See he has that really light civic which is gonna be faster than a type r. And he had the motor swap, the tranny swap. Intake, header, exhaust, bored intake manifold, bored throttle body. I mean he had work done

Just stuff like WAY back in the day (the days he had a TRD S/C'er on his tC), he was always exaggerating the power of it, talking about how he could beat on Stage 1 ZPI turboed tC's, that his S/C'er was way better than turbo tC's etc. Then when there was more information about the S/C'er and people started running the same basic setup as he was, we all realized they were no where near as fast as a turbo tC even with all the bolt-ons.

Then he switched to a Tnetics kit (how ironic right?). And the same thing...just a lot of talking about how the Tnetics kit was the bomb and is better than any of the rest.

Then he posted about getting rid of his tC to get a new Civic SI, then it went from that to "I came into some money, so now I'm going to be building up my tC". Then he started talking about the G35, then mercedes, etc... Just everything was always wishy washy in what he ever posted that I never believe anything that comes from him or his camp.

Now he has a Caliber....LOL...and talks about tC's like they are washed up. His attitude is like..."turbo tC's...bleh I don't even waste my gas on them"... It's like whatever is popular for him at the time it automatically equals BETTER THAN Everything else.

PS....not to mention the rumors of 11sec passes in a tC that were NEVER confirmed other than someone saying...."I thought munch ran 11's". Turns out it's always, "I heard from dudes cousins-sisters-uncles-brother-in-law, who heard from their 3rd cousins-wifes-brothers-nephews-3 month old son....that Munch ran 11's....lol.

If he is sitting on a video somewhere of him running 11's then why not post it up? I would congradulate him on it, and not hate. But bragging about running 11's and then saying I'm to good to post a video of it, does not cut it with me. It's put up or shut up if you ask me.

Sorry for the off topic. Back to racing. My boy Preston with his Dezod T.E.A turbo raced a built bottom end GT35R Talon TSI last night. The Talon had a small crack in the mani, so it had to play catch up every time to Preston. Once that 35R hit boost, he could eventually pull on Preston.

--funny thing is, the TSI guy was more impressed with Prestons car and did nothing more than talk about and compliment Prestons car instead of talkig about his victory....lol. Preston was on 9.5 lbs of boost, not sure about the TSI.

His tC keeps breaking clutches. He went through an ACT Stage 4 clutch on the dyno just before last weekend - dynoed over 450whp and bam it went.

I've seen his dyno sheets and have seen him run - I know he's fast.

i have a question.. if my tranny is slipping is it only affecting me when the shifts are coming or is it affecting the power throughout the whole thing.. cuz i dynoed at 242 whp and i raced my friends gti today who has just chip and intake on a 40 roll and i tried brake boosting.. i held the brake and the gas pedal.. my boost was at 0 and on the 3rd honk i slammed it and he beat me up to 90 i was at his front door fender and i got really angry today.. if i have 240 whp i shouldnt have beaten him.

A continually slipping automatic transmission is not a good sign. You are losing possible power throughout the entire band and are not producing the same amount of whp as you did on the dyno. Build that trans up or it's just gonna crap out on your quick.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

so if i did lower the boost to 5 psi and then hitting around 220-230 whp it could possibly be even faster then my supposedly 242 whp now?
