I'm probably pushing about the same as you. I haven't redynoed after I fixed the O2 sensor.

I need to flush the tranny fluid again. I did it once at about 35k. I'm at almost 55k now. I think I'll use the Royal Purple synthetic ATF now though.

Uh what kind do you have? Are you sure it's compatable with Toyota's Type T-IV ATF?

so pretty much a BMW driver that a friend and I found cannot drive to save his life. My friend with a GS-R was following me home and I was behind a 2000-2003ish 335i. My friend came around me once the road opened up to 2 lanes and blew past the BMW. Well needless to say the BMW jumped on it and so I moved over into the right hand lane and I was WOT as well and I flew past the BMW...im 100% positive that the driver of the BMW was WOT. I was pretty impressed with the fact that I had just passed a BMW that was racing lol so he obviously couldnt drive

Hello all TCers. I wanted to leave my post here as well pertaining to races I've had. So far w/ the mods I have on my car and the cars I have raced, so far I have not lost a race yet. I mean I am not going to sit here and say that Scions are the fastest cars out there, but from what racing experience I have had for many yrs, I am very impressed w/ the power and torque of the I-4 VVTI. I have raced a Ford Focus 4 door, a Mercury Cougar (Late Model), Chevy Prizm w/ a corolla engine, Dodge Neon, Pontiac G6. I have not had the opportunity to race a Honda or a VW as of yet, but the only cars I am worried about are Subaru WRX STI's, Nissan 240's, and VW Golf GTI's. Has anyone had any races w/ Ford Mustangs or Honda's? Has anyone raced a Celica GTS and if so from what I've heard from other people I have talked to is that the Scion TC is based off the Celica GT, but the only difference is the Celica has 20-30hp more and different lifters, cam, and some other things. I am under the impression that the Scion TC and the Celica GT/S are very simular cars and would be a real close race.

Completely Different Engines. We have a 2AZ-FE while the Celi GT-S has a 2ZZ-FE. Much higher revving making most of it power well above our redline. Biggest thing is they have VVTL-i while we have VVT-i. They get lift along with their variable valve timing. Because they're such a high revving engine though, they have major loss in bottom end torque. They're only making 140ish ft lbs so we got the upper hand on take off. They might get us on the high end but as long as our races are no longer then a 1/4, we should take them.

Normally a un-moded tc will lose against a GT-S/XRS. XRS is a Corolla with the 2ZZ-GE/C60 from the GT-S. But in all fairness my car beats a un-moded tc (at least I know it beats an auto).

XRS vs. tc
