SoFloTC Boca Raton Florida, US Godlike Advisor	i beat a 07 GTI with Revo chip, intake and downpipe.. i had him by like 2 cars the whole way.. go auto tc raced a silver random srt-4 and beat him worse then the gti i think he got a fuel cut at 80 to cuz that thing like shut down lmao.. loud and slow. im the only turbo tc in like my whole city so when i let that HKS go off near anyone there like "holy crap" and let me tell u when that wastegate opens up THAT THING IS SOOOO LOUD! but ya jrod .. the wrx will eat u off the line.. awd... no spin... idk who said there slow off the line cuz thats where they are best at.. eat them on rolls though.

Oreoman Phoenix Arizona, US Oil Changer	So I raced a 2007 Nissan Maxima. I let him get the jump because I wasn't entirely sure he wanted to race, but he beat me. We started at a green light and about 70 I started to catch him until he braked but he didn't pull away from me the whole race, it was pretty much the same acceleration. Those things are pretty quick.

vastano1 New Hyde Park New York, US Godlike Advisor	i was driving my friends g37 last night just cruising on the highway listening to her exhaust and a bmw 3 series and a civic hatch came up...needless to say i let them go ahead a bit before i even stepped on the gas just to be fair...... then the civic pulled next to me and the three guys were staring at the g37 like children in a toy/candy store...smiling and pointing...he downshifted...so i did the same...by the time i hit 120 he was about 8 cars or more back...lol gotta love the power click the link, donate some money to help improve our site/community CLICK ME TO DONATE AND HELP SQMK MAKE OUR SITE BETTER

BRsciontc Wantagh New York, US Master Mechanic	Ive been in 2 good races over the past couple of days. First I raced another modded tC. He had an intake and exhaust. It was a BSP to so i was pretty pumped. Anyway, we raced three times, once from a 50mph roll ,then a 30, then from a Dig. Since I destroyed him from the 2 rolls He wanted a car length from the Dig so I let him, but I didn't matter b/c Within seconds I pulled right ahead of him. Then I raced an 87 turbod supra and a mach 1 mustang. We went from a dig and were flagged down by one of our friends. All three of us spun but I spun the least and took an early lead. I was ahead up untill about 65 mph then the mustang pulled ahead of me, and the supra was catching up to me, but We had the 1/4 mile marked off so when we passed the 1/4 the mustang was about 3 cars ahead and the supra was at my mirror.

Kaburan San Diego California, US Tire Changer	Running short ram and catback, yet to swap in headers once I move out of Cali. No turbo, no LSD or other mods. WRX HB pulls up and clears his blow off, clearly a sign of hostile intent. I look at the guy and he gives me a dumb stare and says w'dup. I knew i'd lose but wanted to get a feel for what I was up against, so I roll up the windows and the light turns green. Figure I might be a bit lighter since he had a passenger. We gun it, I was quicker on the take off being light with the foot and tapping into a full stomp at about 2k rpm. By 3rd gear the wrx guns past me. Smoked me by around 2 car lengths. I think I learned my lesson until I'm better prepared. But I gave the guy a thumbs up once I rolled past him and prepared to go home and get my throat cleared of his turbo fumes.

dhowton Georgia, US Tech Advisor	Ran a Mustang the other night the guy is a friend of mine and knows how to drive. We started from a 20 roll and he destroyed me no questions asked. haha but also he is modded out and with the exception of a short shifter I am running stock. A while back I ran a Boss Mustang and after having run some more mustangs now Im pretty sure the guy didn't know how to drive it because we started from a dig the light turned green we both gunned it I pulled away and had the head up until about 3rd gear and then he pulled past me and finished about a car and a half ahead of me.

Oh yeah, I got a short shifter too which helps immensely with shifting times, my problem is i'm still getting used to 1/4 clutch press with shifting. My ol car I had to slam the clutch all the way down to even shift lol.

In our miata ive had punks in mustangs pull up next to me and say things like that, light turns green they gun it and i laugh as i hit 4500 RPMS and 15psi and blow past them, they usually turn around and go the other way at the next light

vastano1 New Hyde Park New York, US Godlike Advisor	yea so i got tricked by a civic =/ ....i was driving home at like 3 in the morning wit no one on the road basically...started heading down the side streets to get to the highway and a civic wit pinkish/purple hids pulled next to me light turned green and we were pretty even, but i started to pull ahead and had him by like 2 cars wen we hit 80....slowed to make the sharp turn onto the high way and decided id keep going wit this guy cuz he followed right along....soooooooooo heres where i got tricked lol... we get on the highway and all i hear is his loud blow off valve(which i didnt hear on the street)and watch him pull away on the straight away....damn bastards wit their turbos lol... was just a reminder of why i dont do straight aways with my tc...lost to a frickin civic click the link, donate some money to help improve our site/community CLICK ME TO DONATE AND HELP SQMK MAKE OUR SITE BETTER

777ipd Bakersfield California, US Master Mechanic	I've got one that will blow your mind... My friend and I were out driving the other night (he has a 06 tc with TRD I/E) and we pulled up to a light. There was a riced Yaris setting at the light already, my friend gives me the "let's see what he's got" so we took off fast but didn't floor it. Well we both pull on him about a car, THEN he starts to catch us, we both floor it and he ended up beating us by a car at 75!!! WTF?!?! do they make turbos for the Yaris, they must! I know they come stock with 109HP (1.5L) Mac and iPhone/iPod help!
