nah definitly not...it dont matter that car u have if u can drive better than the next person...especially in traffic. The tc is definitly not the quickiest car, but it handles perfect and fits in every possible opening there is. i dont drive around lookin to race people but they throw on their hazards tryin to get me to race....how many of you people actually live in ny? or race in traffic instead of straight aways?..........

for those people that really drive in here...youll know that no matter wat car you have..if you dont know how to drive it wont make a difference.....and for all you who tryin to make jokes......its all good....i was sharing my racing experiences wit my TC.....if u dont wanna believe me thats on you....i got no reason to be lying on a forum...

do most of my racing through traffic...living in ny thats what we like to do most cause theres not many times when the road is open...but my tc is completely stock and definitly attracts alot of attention from all them other cars....so far this is the list of cars i have raced and won against on the highway wit alil bit of traffic...
- g35- 2 of them
- magnum srt
- m3
- 2005 altima 2.5s
- several acura 3.2 tl's
- wrx, evo, 2 rsx's type S - all in one race (they were together)
- 2002 maxima
- acura tsx
unfortunately dont have any videos, but i let the passengers in my car speak for me...definitly love the tc its a beast...cant wait to throw a turbo in it to really put all them cars out there to shame....

you gotta be kidding me right?? theres no way in hell you would have beat g35s, magnum srts, wrx, evo, rsx-s and even acura tl.

sorry but i gotta pull the bs flag,

g35~270hp
m3~300hp
acura tl(depends what year)~260hp
wrx(not sti)~220hp
evo~271hp
rsx-s~210hp,

all these cars are way out of your league, ive raced a g35, rsx-s, and acura tls and ive lost, and my car is moderately modded.

your saying your car is stock and you beat them???

ok idk if i wasnt clear enough in my descriptions...i dont race these cars on straight aways...i kno these cars definitly have more power than our 160 stock hp tc's...however i stated that i do my racing on the highways....the cars the i have raced have definitly had the upper hand, but their drivers lacked the ability to manuever through traffic ......i wouldnt come here sayin stuff just to sound cool...i posted my results to show that the tc is definitly a great car....with moderate/light/heavy traffic i have been able to defeat cars that have way more power and performance than the tc..

if u guys want situations for every specific race i have no problem telling u what and how i beat them......but just remember i do my racing on the high way and for the most part other cars approach me to race.........

define beat? i was in front of them to the point where all i saw was their head lights flashing from lane to lane tryin to catch up to me again....or...where i waited 3 or 4 exits on the highway doing about 60 (after i couldnt see them nemore) till they came up to me doin prolly about a 100 tryin to catch me.......

my girl was in the car for the majority of these races...i kno i wasnt dreaming..or racing myself.....if u guys have more criticism or want to know more...just ask i have no problem standing behind wat i said cause i know wat i can do wit my car...racing on the highway and racing on a straight away(drag racing) are two completely different types of racing....im a highway driver...and love finding the quickiest and fastest ways through traffic at watever speed im doing.....

ahhh...see, that clears up the picture a lil bit. so you win in the races where it's pretty much "who ever has the bigger balls to cut people off, weave through traffic, go on the shoulder to pass cars, put everyone's life in danger" wins the race. Please dont do that. i hate when assholes cut me off doing a 120. keep it to the tracks or at least a safer setting, because the races that you're talking about aren't races, they are just to see who cares less if their car gets totaled. So yes, if i owned a $35,000+ vehicle, i'd be a little hesitant too on "racing" some ricer doing 120+ on the highway. i dont mind the occasional sprint, for example, lining up on the highway droppin down to bout 45mph-100mph, but no weaving for me (not that i cant, because i have done it in my days and even hit 135mph once) but i love my car too much to be doing that shyt anymore.

Yeah, in this situation, whoever makes the right move the fastest will come out ahead 9/10 times. That's understandable. Plus, others who are not aware of you racing my slow down just as you pass them blocking the other car and giving you the advantage.

Good times............I just wouldn't do that with my gf in the car. I'm not a highway racer. Has to be wide open stretches of road or, hopefully this spring, at the track.

^^^ LIER!! Unicorns are way faster than TC's

I had this fucker in a basic ol explorer next to me, my exit was coming up and since i was about half a length ahead i droped to 4th to pass and get off, this fucker starts pacing me not letting me pass him, so i said fuck the exit and just kept speeding up. Obviously
hes auto eight kept him easly right next to me we got to 115-120 when he realized his car might have more than enough power to keep me blocked but a big oafy stock explorer isnt made to cruise at 120mph for long. his shit started wobbling so he immediately took his foot of the gas and dropped back while my little shit kept cruising at 120 like it was no sweat, i let off the gas and slowly coasted to 80 and took the next exit.

i had a chevy Silverado kinda do that too me it was a red light and i was casual with my takeoff and it merdged into one lane from 2 and normaly people are good and split so we can merdge together but this mother sits on my pass side rear quater and when it gets close to one lane he fly by me and almost pushs me into the other lane so im pissed at this point and i get on his ass a foot and a half away from his bumper very well knowing hes gunns hit his brakes so im ready he does it i slam on mine downshift to 2nd comes back out to 2 lanes from that one i blow by him finger out the sunroof i come to a light to turn left he goes straigh so i swerve into his lane. i know i know should of let it go but my poor car is always getting picked on by those big suvs and trucks

p.s. i wish i had a paintball gun right then

I know where hes coming from thought, I have a friend with a 2 door hyundai accent that does this. He's beaten Rx8's,Mazda6's and a few other cars out of his league beacause he don't give a shit! I never race him on the highway because he himself has told me that he'll go on to oncoming traffic to get in front of you if he has to. so when
we both get on the high way i just stay behind him and chill that way
i figure i keep my self safe and him from killing himself lol

Did race him at a light one time, i took of normaly and he floors it
so i catch up to him and pace him with just my nose ahead of him, when we get to his place I fig he'd be like "see my car kept up with yours" but he was pissed he was like "you fucker you were just playing with my shit" turns out he was flooring it all out and i was just nudging the gas on and off to pace him lol.

But i feel you Vastano 1, highway racing like that is kinda the norm
here in South FL highways too.

wow that was more intense than that one time I forgot how to sit down...

highway racing is definitly more dangerous, but i dont do shoulders and i dont take chances unless i know i can make it....i love my car and definitly wouldnt be doin that unless i knew i had the ability to do it....but as far as the cars gettin caught up...that racing it could easily happen to me just the same, but weavin through traffic is my thing.......i would understand if i was the only one out there..then i couldnt say nothing......but ny is full of cars from hondas to bmws, that weave through traffic....therre arent many open roads or long stretches in ny that you can race on....cops are everywhere...so we do wat we can wit wat we have............it still takes skill cause i dont get in my car to take risks and possibly hurt myself or someone else......once i get a turbo ill prolly take it down alil bit and just have fun pullin up to g35s and blowin them away on the open road...but till then highway weavin is wat i do......takes more skill then drag racing IMO

I used to be a Road-Rageaholic, but I've calmed down a lot because it scares whoever is riding with me, but mostly I've calmed because it's just not worth it.

I get shitty little Hyundai Accents and Honda Civics blowing past me and getting in front because they have SDS (small dick syndrome) but I say to myself...

"Self, you know that if you were actually to race this P.O.S, you'd blow him back to the Hyundai factory in Korea, so just chill, you're cooler for being laid back and enjoying the ride rather than being RICEY."

Every once in a while, I'll take off fast when the light turns green when the person next to me is expecting it. I don't need to go past the speed limit though. Just about any car is capable of getting to 90mph.. It's not how fast you go, it's how fast you get there.

hahaha, SDS runs wild in MD. I like to be outside that group .

If I am going to run, it'll be on my terms. If I feel it's safe, I'll run. I'm not going to bob and weave all around helpless drivers b/c I know that one of the driver's will turn too quickly or jump in my lane by accident and I'll end up killing some little kid's parents.

I like to look at things in the worst possible scenario sometimes b/c that's more than enough to keep my foot from smashing the gas.

So today on my way home from work, I'm on the highway and this Mustang, I think it was a v6 trying to be a GT, it was modded with extra wide tires and everything. I didn't see duel pipes but it some kind of special exhaust, because it didn't sound the same.

He sees me coming up on his rear so he changes lanes to block both lanes. I see an opening so I take it and I pass him at 9 miles above the speed limit.

Eventually he feels a little salty, so he guns it to blow right past me on my right.

Normally, I'd just laugh and let it slide, but I really wanted to see what he had. So I catch up to him and match his speed even though he was already speeding up in anticipation.

I'm at 5900 rpm in 4th gear and he can't pass me at all. He was near my bumper on the other lane, I actually wanted him to pass if he could, but he didn't. I shift into 5th and he's faded away and eventually he let off his gas.

I'd say that is score 1 for me, zero for the modded mustang.
