I don't have minor mods.

But the tibbies coupled with an alpine blower (roots style s/c) make some crazy numbers. I am hoping not to find one of those and seriuosly doubt i will around here.

But the base alpine stage supercharger is at 4psi and they make make about 10-20 more whp than a trd tC.

well some people dont deserve credit, especially if they cheat, theres alot of cheaters where i live, pull out first or go to a specific street where their lane is lined with glue...other than that, respect people who win and lose, although i lost to a kia, i still have respect..

you lost to a kia hah just kidding.

To be honest i have never really lost to anyone. Now before you get all huffy and puffy, I really try to keep it at the track. Now at the track I've lost to TONS of cars. But I'm sorry, not much I can do against a 2005 mustang cobra

2,922 lbs (DE) to 3,032 (GTS) curb weight

152 hp/ 146 lb-ft

Those numbers are not similar

Although I do like the new styling, however if tCs are slow. I think we'll have to redifine the word for the new lancer

I posted 2x. so I deleted one. The new SE-R spec V is a nice vehicle also.

I'd purchase that one over the SI or SI sedan.

I acutally like the new tiburon style also.

Modded they put some numbers down, however a stock v6 that doesn't push 200 hp is not worth the price tag you pay for the tiburon GT

The v8 tiburon is coming out in 2010 and will have a 4.6l v8, a 2.0t 4cylinder, and a 3.8l v6. Just read it in november 2007 Road and Track.

Yeah I Was On My Way To NY From GA About 4 Months Ago On I95 And I Was Rolling At About 100 With Cruise And I Saw This 300ZX Twin Turbo Coming Up On Me In My Rearview And He Came Up On My Left Side And Flashed His Flashers So I Dropped The Pedal To The Floor And Jumped Him By About 1 And 1/2 Lengths And As I Hit About 130 He Was Gaining On Me And Then He Kept Going Until He Was About 5 Lengths Ahead. Then I Caught Up And He Slowed Down A Little So We Were Even And Rolling Together. We Were Rolling For A Good 3 Minutes At Around 110 Together And Then I See Blue Flashing Lights Behind Him. I Just Keep Going Cause I Know Im Already Screwed And He Slows A Little And Gets Behind Me Trying To Get The Cop To Pass Him And To Take Me But The Cop Pulls Behind Him And I Jump Up To About 120 Because I Was Going To Jail Anyway. The Guy Pulls Over And The Cop Just Stays Behind Him And I Make A Clean Getaway And Pull Over At The Next Exit And Kinda Hide For Awhile Lol. The Funny Thing Is He Could Have Smoked Me And I Would Have Been Screwed But He Didnt Have The Balls Lol. That Was All My Luck Used Up For The Year.

I'm not trying to sound like a d!ck but i think you might be exaggerating a bit. Our cars are governed at 126 so you couldn't have been going 130 unless you spent the money to buy an engine management system that can do it. Since your profile says you only have an intake(if that is true i'm sorry but your car doesn't have 180hp) i'm not thinking you spent that money yet.

If it was a turbo 300 then the only reason you might have jumped out is he was letting you. at that speed the rpms are up high enough that lag would not be a factor. even if it wasn't a turbo it should have jumped you. the stock n/a 300zx was rated at 222hp. the turbo car was rated at 280-300hp. verify here i think he was just toying with you. if you were already cruising at 100 then the cop was probably already trying to catch him. since you were already doing 100 he had to have been doing well over to be able to catch up to you as quick as you say.

again not trying to be a d!ck or burst your bubble. just trying to help you keep from getting flamed really bad at a future date.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.

ok i dont know exactly how fast we were goin but i definetely was topped out and i know he was toying with me bad. thats why i said i knew he could have smoked me in a heart beat. it was just the fact that he could have left both me and the cop and he didnt lol. and he is the one who got the ticket not me so its just funny to me. I wish there was some way to get twin turbo in a TC. that would be amazing!

yeah you definatly got lucky on that one. i've had a good amount of luck with not getting pulled over also. but one night my luck ran out and i got a ticket for a speed contest. it was a $270 and 5 points on my record. plus i had to take a points conference class. good news is atleast i won...lol.

like i said dude i wasn't trying to flame you or anything. just figured i would offer advise for future posts.

the only way a twin turbo set up on a tc would be worth it is if it had a 6 cylinder in it. twin turbo on a 4cyl. is just pointless. twin turbo isn't the way to go for the most part. yeah you can still make big numbers but most people just take the money you would spend for the extra custom pipeing and two semi big turbos for one big one and be able to make more power.

well what is the best one that I can get for my 07 TC? I dont care if I have to put other aftermarket parts on my car because of it. One that can push out the most HP

Get the T'netics kit, but see if they can upgrade you to the GTK line with the same flanges and intake/exhaust side diameters.

if your looking to go big then build a custom kit. just remember that the motor is only going to take so much.
