 One more win on the list, but barley! So my buddy has a 99 silverado with the STS Turbo system and we have been waiting for his new tranny to come in so we could go run them at the track. So after a 5 week wait the day had come to throw down with the beast! We went to our local track last weekend and got to have a go at it, and as fate would have it for Goliath, David smite him by 3/10th's in the 1/4! It was an awesome race, I might have won this battle but I know I haven't won the War!

 Just got back from the bank and it was me, a CTS V (no chance) and a 1997 BMW 535i. Of course, the CTS-V just walked us in a heart beat, but the 535i couldn't get away from me. He laughed at the light when he looked over and saw my roof rack. Told me I should put some stickers on my car too. (hahahahaha).

After the green, I rolled into first and mashed it b/c I heard both the other cars launch and go for it. When the CTS-V cleared me by about 1 full length shifting into 2nd, I just laughed but the 535i was right next to me. We run it all the way up to 100 and the whole time, our door handles didn't leave one another's sides. I let off at 100 b/c my turn was coming up but he slowed down enough to pull next to me. He said "Now I feel like a dumb ass...nice setup".

 i was supose to race my buddys 328i i think it is but we never got to it he went in the navy i tink its a 97 with 100k+ miles and no mods well aftermarket rims and new rubbers

 03ish crown victoria. Had some goofy ricer vinyls on the sides and some stupid strobe light on the roof. looked something like this:

So last night I'm going home from Britt's house around 3:30am. I turn onto Mexico Road (2 lanes either direction, center lane). I get past the cops' usual squatting spot and decide to GUN it. As I crest the hill at around 95 MPH I see lights, but they look round becuase they're so bright. About 75 feet later it all came to me at once...the lights were square, the side had reflective vinyl on it, and that silly thing on the roof WASN'T a bike/luggage rack.

I look in my rearview mirror and all i can see is this cop doing a HUGE U-turn in the middle of the street and he starts haulin ass after me. I gun it up to my subdivision entrance; throughout the whole turn in all I can hear is the tires sqealing, yelling at me to ease up, but I can't. As I cruise up the main drag I flip my lights off half-way between the entrance and the street I live on. Since I can't brake, I hold the clutch from about half-way between where I turned my lights off and where my street is, and coast the corner at around 35, blowing the stop-sign. I whip into my driveway, shut the car off and hold my breath. About 3 seconds later I see Mr. PD FLYING down the main drag, also blowing the stop sign. A sigh of relief and into my house I go, giggling the whole way in.

All-in-all, last night was pretty frickin funny haha.

 My buddy just picked up a 2008 vette. Black. I got him by a fender. From a 40 roll to a 120 roll. I was on 14 PSI

 I also got my buddys WRK by 3 cars. I was only on 9 PSI. He has a cobb stage 2, with an intake and exhaust ( 3 inch. )

I finally got a chance to match up against another tC (it's been a long time) and it just so happened to be Super White.

I wasn't going to do anything but admire the follow tC, but the car wanted to snub me and he/she (couldn't tell) flew past me at 90 mph in a 70 zone.

So I downshift into 4th and caught up in about 5 seconds. The car was flooring it but I still pulled. I was side to side and it sounded like the vehicle had an air intake, but that was it.

After I demonstrated superior high end acceleration, I let off and coasted down to 70 and the other tC was so road raged that it was speeding weaving through traffic at 90+. If there was a State Trooper around, I'd be in danger in getting a ticket because of mistaken identity.

 I took on a Jeep Grand Cherokee the other night. It was a V8. I was driving in front of it on the highway for a while but i decided to gun it within a couple exits of my house. Not even looking for a race, he tries to keep up but can't so i let him catch up and pass and just as he starts to pass, i punch it again and catch up and pass him on the OUTSIDE of the turn, lol!! Then it was no mercy. I put about 1/4 mile on him in the last 15 seconds or so before my exit. It was not a new Jeep, i'd say late 90s.

I don't like to fight, but i ain't scared to bleed..... Most don't mess with a guy like me- Eric Church

why is it always the driver in an 04 Jetta GLI that wants to be an ash?

so I'm on my way to get gas and this 04 Jetta GLI comes from out of nowhere and it's behind me and checking my car so hard I can see him fogging up his tinted windows.

I'm at the red and he's behind me. When the light turns green I accelerate hard and I see him trying hard to match me. I let off my gas and he passes me up at about 12-13 mph over the speed limit.

I got behind him at next light and I decided I was going to blow past him on the right when I got the chance. He delayed his acceleration purposefully to keep me pinned behind him and the car next to me on my right.

When I get an opening, I blast in 2nd gear and he's already accelerating hard side by side and it was perfectly even, I couldn't pass and he couldn't blow me away. I hear his RPM climb, but he wasn't moving away from me. Even though I was climbing closer to redline I couldn't get away either.

I had to let off my gas and brake because there was a car in my lane and I had to let it go.

I have a very good feeling that if the race was at the track, he would have been left behind and stay there without being able to catch up.

The driver of the 04 Jetta GLI continued to speed as though I was going to chase him so he speed off at 15 mph over the speed limit.

What a douche, I wanted to invite him to a track match.

Man you beat a vette? i raced my cousins 07 vette and he made me feel like i was riding a lawn mower....of course he has an exhaust and nitrous and some kind of air intakish thing in a six speed and im auto, stock auto so that might have had something to do with it. we raced from a red light and by the time i got to 45 he was gone.

So wait, you're surprised that a 5-speed tC at 14 PSI with about the same amount of whp as the vette, but lighter, beat the vette. Cuz your stock auto tC can't keep up with one?? I'm not trying to to be rude or anything, but you know that a stock tC and a vette is like comparing apples and oranges.... And a 14 PSI boosted tC and a vette is like green apples and red apples.lol

 ok i just got my scion, so im a rookie to the club. i guess i'm in the wrong forum to ask this but i figure atleast one of you can help me. my car doesn't beep when you use the keyless but i want it to, is there any way to change that?

 so last night at work, during my lunch break around 8 pm, me and a friend decided to do a couple runs with my new car to see how well my s2k would do against his car, he has a 98 vr6 5 speed, with a built motor, such as flywheel clutch transmission intake exhaust and other goodies, chip, blah blah dont remmeber all of it but he said he was pushing 200 whp and maybe 220 wtq or something but i dont think so so i said lets go, anyways we ran 4 times, 20 mile roll, 40 mile role, 35 mile roll, and lastly a dig, he would get the jump on me everytime since he had crazy tq but in third gear, my vtec dominated, it was awesome, just crazy, my s2k is bone stock of course just got it, but yea, man my car flies, now i know the true power of vtec, puahhahah but yea that was my racing story last night

 went to the track yesterday...



from left to right it went like this me vs evo durr EVO FTW. then the middle slip someone droped there bottom end on the takc so they had one lane open talk about a long wait! Then my first run on the right time slip haha wasnt my best but i ran against a mazdaspeed mazda6 the car i think has some upgrades to the turbo system i was so proud didnt relize he had a bad start and i was like ooooo snap im ahead then i saw him just breeze right by me. All in all it was a fun day my first run was nerve racking but once did my burnout i felt good. Then after that it was a matter of wanting to get back inline and go again. i only got 3 runs out of the day got a late start so there were tuns of cars.
