I have a 2006 tC with the stock Alloy rims. What do you guys think is the best cleaning compound for these rims? Unfortunately I think my rims were damaged when I used Eagle One. I should have just stuck to good old soap and water. They look spotty as if there was a chemical discoloration. Does anyone know what I can use or where I can take it to make them look as new as possible again.
I loved my rims so much that I messed them up trying to get them to look good

I just use some water and a towel to keep them clean inbetween washes. If you never let them get that dirty, they are pretty easy to clean.

I use Meguiars "Hot Rims" and im very pleased with it. Been using it since before the tc. Meguiars has pretty good cleaning products in general.

Great product. They have a purple and red chemical. Get the purple b/c it's made for ALL metals.

DO NOT GET THE RED BOTTLE THAT SAYS IT'S FOR CHROME RIMS!!!

This does not mean it will clean your alloys better, it will actually put a chemical stain on them and they will look cloudy. No way to get it off other than to repaint them.

I use Eagle One Tire/Wheel cleaner. Works great. Just spray it on, let it sit for about 30 seconds, spray it off, and wipe the left over dust in the cracks off with a soft microfiber rag.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.
