 This guy from work is selling his brand new tires for $150 for four of them...is that a good deal???? 215/40/17 would that even fit to our stock rims???

 It may or may not fit (more than like should) because that's stock width. It's important to know what kind of tires they are before you buy them. Your handle implies that you enjoy going fast, are these tires you would want?

 It will fit, but it will throw your speedo / odo off by 3.5% - about 3mph at 80mph, and it will make the wheels look even smaller.

It's a great deal, but a wrong tire size. Great for xBs and such, though.
