any all around spray cleaner (even a windex) is good for the car. You shouldnt be doing tires, etc. because you will have just cleaned it. Also bring some bug removal spray cuz a trip like that in the summer means a lot of bugs on your front...

wait i might have misread your post. do you mean what detail spray should you bring to florida? or what spray to use on the car before you leave for florida? cuz if you mean before the trip just wash, clay, wax, tire shine, windex, vacuum, plastic shine and cloth cleaner... and if its had a real lot of miles throw on a polish between the clay and the wax... That would pretty much be a full detail minus the engine bay...

It might be a lot of work but if I was going to Florida for a weekend I would sure want a clean as hell car... because a roadtrip in florida means ladies...

make sure if you do use windex.... that it's ammonia-free.... ammonia.. bad for paint.

I've also heard of ppl spraying some Pam on the front of their cars where all the bugs are and then cleaning it off. So I guess you could spray pam on the car and then go through a touchfree car wash? Any feedback on this idea guys? Would it hurt the paint or do anything bad?

Pam wont hurt the car but it can be a pain in the ass to get off sometimes... besides pick up some eggs and if you get hungry pull over and throw some on the hood.... lol seriously though I have done the Pam trick, I have also tried the plastic wrap (dont suggest) and also the painters tape... Pam worked the best but again it is still a pain...

rainX make a product designed to be sprayed on the front of the car and it makes the bugs easy to get off!

Its pretty hard to find...but Meguiars "Final Inspection" is easily the best detailer ever. Its a pro level detailing spray and ive only found it at shows and other car related events...

I use Eagle One detailing spray.........Big blue bottle and works great on windows and paint. Then I use 20/20 Eagle One on the windows after that

the NXT speed detailer is amazing especially used with the NXT wax since they layer up and creates more wet shine and deepens the color.

i use the detailer like every 2-3 days hehe.
