 I'm sellin my beloved Alpine CDA-9855. This was Alpine's bread and butter. Their top of the line HU with glidetouch controls. This is for serious audiophiles. You can pretty much tune EVERYTHING. I am selling it because I just installed NAV. This was kept in exceptional condition and is in it's original box. I paid $427 for this HU (I have the receipt to prove it)

UPDATE- ipod adapter SOLD

$120 shipped or $100 picked up locally (MD/VA/DC) for the HU

 I think I'll post some features that nobody knows about on this. You can go to alpine.com and go to i-personalized and end up personalizing everything about this HU. You can set the crossover to the exact location that will work for you. Also, you know how you get tired of the same old background on just about everybody elses HU? Well on this one (like most other top notch alpines) you can download different ones and even personalize and make your own. Has 3 output jacks, will tell you happy birthday when it comes around, has thousands of different colors you can tune into for the buttons. One more thing, if you are running alpine amps it will tap into their onboard computer and on the display show you the tempature, fan speed, how much power it is pulling and how much it is pushing. Hopefully this will help somebody take full advantage of this. If you are shopping for a new HU and pass this up then you just missed out on one of the best Units on the market!!!!!!!

 I just bought that exact radio at Best Buy for $250 because it was a late year model... $300 for a used is way to extreme...

Unfortunitly though it broke on me within the first few days so I had to give it back and I got a brand new Clarion for $300...

Lower the price!!

 hey man i would lower it even more here is the next model after that and it has the same features and gizmoos as this model does. I work in the stereo department at american tv and that model is being replaced.

 It has already been replaced... Though it is the last motorized face that Alpine makes, it's not worth $275...

$200 and then $20 for shipping MIGHT be ok if you can find someone wanting it bad enough but even that is a bit high...

Sorry man, if you want money like that, try E-Bay... Hopefully no one on this board will pay that much for that...



Oh and to be honest, the finger scroll wasn't as cool as I thought it would be... They are still buttons underneath so if you push your finger too hard while scrolling, you'll hit the function button or whatever it is... Not the way you want to go if you're driving and trying to screw with the radio...
