 Hey all. I just bought my first 2006 scion tc. I came from a 2002 saturn sl1, so you can imagine the excitement!

I know nothing about cars or what goes into making them "pretty", you will be seeing me here often.

My first couple questions. .. (i am going to do an orange and blue theme)

1. My first step is installing Blue and Orange lights in the interior. One set of lights at the passeger and driver feet and another that shine on the door. Orange on the bottom blue on the top. .......................... here is the question..................... what the easiest way to go about getting through the fire wall. Is there an opening or do i drill?

2. I am going to install orange foot pedals (automatic). The brand I plan to use are Ichibahn Pedals. ........................ Has any one ever used these and how do i know if they will fit properly. Here is the link to the ones that i would buy. do they just slide on?

3. I see pictures of people's interiors being differnt colors. I was going to go with or try to find orange and blue vinyl, but it looks as if the others are painted.

is this how you guys change the colors of the center consoles? Just paint? if so, what kind of paint.

 are you going to install underbodys? is that why you asked about the firewall?


if so then no you dont need to drill. just right behind the glove campartment you will see alot of wires going thur the firewall just take your wires thur there also.. it maybe hard to get to them but it works..

 Thanks man! I think we may hook them up to the headlights. any thoughs on that?

I found a couple answers my paint question but none about the pedals. I dont want to buy these if they wont work.

Any body?

oh... what is the best paint to use for the interior.
