just to be sure, cuz ive heard a lot of different stories and views, is it okay to buy aftermarket rims, and stick with the stock tires? will this affect ride quality at all? basically im sticking with my stock 17" yoko's and probably adding some enkei's...

it should be no problem... a few people have done that. Also if I was you I would spend some extra money and just get 18 or 19s... and just sell your stock rims...

Hey as anyone noticed that the stock tires suck when they get wet? Im losing traction every time I drive trough a damn puddle! WTF

Yes these tires have very poor wet traction!

Thats exactly what I am doing I just got my car about 2 weeks ago and it has less than 500 miles on it which is why I am sticking to my stock tires and just getting aftermarket wheels, Once I lower it and put the front strut bar and rear sway bar I should be good to go, then when I NEED new tires I'll go with some pirellis or nittos...

I agree, most people just upgrade there rims, but the orginal tires are pretty bad in wet weather...
