So i just got ONE 12" 900 watt sony xplode subwoofer with a box and everything..

I know nothing of how amps and wattages and what not or how they work, so i was wondering what kind of amp i can get, or what specs the amp has to have to fully support my woofer..Please much help would be appreciated..i really wanna start bumpin this baby! thanks..

First find out what the RMS handling is. 900 I would think is peak for that sub. RMS I would say 400-450. then find yourself an amp that will give you that amount of power. It can get a little tricky. Amp power is different at different OHM ratings. Just go down to a stereo shop and have them help you out if you really don't know. That way you don't end up over or underpowering you equipment.
