This is my DREAM car. Was doing a little research and found that the Bugatti Veyron has 16 cylinder monster accompanied by 4 turbo chargers puts out a whopping 1001hp!!! Also it has a 7 speed double clutch tranny that can put down numbers like 0-60 in 2.5 and 0-125 in 7.3 seconds with a top of 250+mph. Im just going to need a little help of about 1.2 million so i can get one. PM me if you are interested in giving a donation.

Yea that car is rediculous. Even at 1.2 million dollars each the company isn't seeing a profit. They are building the car mainly for the betterment of the auto-industry...

The thing has a horsepower gauge. It goes 0, 250, 500, 750, 1001. It's so friggin cool. This is basically the only production car that can outperform the Enzo... that is if the Veyron ever does become produced...

I'd like to see that engine. I wonder how the length of the crankshaft will affect the longevity of the motor. I know Cadillac had a prototype V16, but said it wasn't feasable to built because the crankshaft wouldn't last.

Heres a picture of the W16 engine. It's like they put two V8 blocks together that use the same crank shaft. Everything on this car was designed from the bottom up so im sure allot of ingenuity went into the crank shaft as well as the rest of the power plant.
I highlighted the turbos because they are very small so that there is no lag at all. That web site they have is awesome so i suggest anyone who has interest should check it out.

That makes alot more sense, I didn't realize that it was a W configuration.

I still like the McLaren F1 better

The Bugatti needs 4 more cylinders, 4 turbos, 1 extra valve per cylinder and 400 more horsepower to gain 10-15 mph on the top end.

And it's IMO just plain ugly next to the sleek McLaren F1. And the F1 still holds the title of the fastest naturally aspirated production car ever made.

I often wonder what the top speed on the McLaren would be with a twin turbo setup but I seriously doubt anyone would even attempt to do that.

It takes a $1.2million car to do what a $10k motorcycle can do...

The website is awesome though. You can design it with a bunch of different colors, it looks like a superhero car.
