It has been mentioned a few times on these forums but I have never seen it before. I would imagine it wouldnt be to hard to do. I know a guy that customizes boxes out of fiberglass and im sure he could do it with ease. |

Just take the spare tire out, fiber glass yourself a box and walah! or take it to a car audio store and have them do it.. wouldnt recomend it hate to be caught without a spare but if your driving around town and have free towing go for it just aslong as your throw your spare in the back seat for long trips |

My best friend works at a car audio shop and suggested that to me....there's also a possibility of resonating....I went with a custom fiberglass enclosure that will fit on the side of my trunk.....I think using the spare tire well would be good though even though you lose your spare, but who actually uses that thing anyway? I never have and yeah, you can always throw it in the trunk. |

Ha, i bet you havent even had your car for a year. Just wait, you will need it. If you have it in your car you will use it and if you dont.... lets just say you will have wished you never took it out. |

Well I look at it this way. If you take out the spare and leave it at your house you can do the normal drive around town stuff. If you blow out a friend or taxi can take you to get the spare and save the cost of a tow. If you go on a road trip just set it in the back and have at it. |
