ok so like for some reason my system keeps cutting off when turned up. i thought it was because i didnt have a big enough ground wire (8 gauge) so i went ahead and changed it out with a bigger gauge wire (4 gauge). but now the amp wont even turn on. im thinking its the remote wire that connected into the fuse box under the dash but not sure. ima check it out tomorrow after school. does anyone know why my amp wont turn on now? ads;flkjads;gklja. |

If you didn't disconnect the negative wire from the battery before you messed around with your system, there is a posibility that you blew the positive wire fuse. Have it checked out at a sound store, just because it isn't broken down the middle doesn't mean it isn't blown. |

Sounds like you're wiring is a bit funky. Probably blew a fuse. Rather than do any more damage..if you don't know what you're doing, take it to an audio shop. |

Why is your remote wire going to your fuse panel? That should be going straight to your radio. Chris Clocher 2005 Scion tC - 5 speed |

haha...I must have skipped over that part. Yeah, that def is your prob. Remote AND RCAs both run from the back of your HU to amp. |

Not always true. A stock headunit probably wont have a remote out. So you can attach the remote wire to any source that turns off with the ignition. It does not have to run to the headunit. Just needs to run to a power source. Mine runs from a power source to an inline switch to the amp and works just fine. |
