 I know the type of bulb i need for the cubby hole is #74 mini incandescent lamp bulb, and so i went, http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi , to this site and I am wondering if the

74 Wedge Base LED bulb
Small Wedge Base LED bulb (74 type)
3/16 inch wide base, 13/16 inch overall length
Flat tipped LED produces wide beam angle
$ 1.19

is the right one i need? When I was looking at the DIY made by 1.0 the cubby light shouldnt have the base. Anyone wanna help me out?

Yep, that's the right one. I've already replaced mine with #74 red. It looks really good and it's noticeable.

 im not sure why they would say you need one without the base. Im pretty sure that you actually need one with it. But yea that light will be fine...

Yea, that is correct, replaced mine yesterday with a blue #74 and the one in my shifter.
