I'm looking into changing the bulbs w/ brighter ones but i don't know which ones to get. piaa, wagner, and sylvania all make 4000k bulbs, but the piaa are like 8x what the other two cost. are they worth it or just price gouging off their rep?

go with piaa.. i hear they are warrantied bulbs as well so if they burn out piaa will replace them.. look into that and if its true then its well worth the money since bulbs do run a bit pricey

this might be the wrong form to ask, but i will ask, which one of the lights is the normal everyday driving lights? cause i seen it where the light changes color and i thought it would be cool to get those blueish looking ones but i dont know which one it is. Also by buying those lights does that do anything to the, sorry i might be calling this something way wrong, but the cable harness? i saw something somewhere on these forms saying something about it will burn out if you get HID? or something like that. sorry i will say it im a n00b, im trying to learn all these car terms and what not but any info on this would be nice.

The bulbs that fry your harness are luminics and other (for lack of a better term) wanna-be hid's. Those bulbs have a different mixture of gases in them and i believe use more wattage then the harness is meant to handle, so they can burn up the wires over time. Luminics does make the colored bulbs your referring to, or you culd get a true hid setup to change the color.
