 For those of you who have installed the complete Katzkin leather kit, how did the door panel covers fit on to the panels?

Were they just nothing more than pre cut sheets of fabric and you had to glue them to the old panels, roll the edges and trim off the excess material or were they more like some type of slip or cover like the seat covers, armrest and headrests?
