OTC polishes and waxes not that good??

Well, for the $30 I spent for clay bar, meguiar's #7 polish, and meguiars gold class liquid wax I think it did a pretty damn good job. Here are some pics after one coat of polish and two coats of wax (a day between coats on the wax).




I know the pics are a little blurry.....I'm not sure what was up with the camera. But, you get the idea from those pics.

nice reflection most of that finish can be attributed to the #7 seeing as it is a glaze. It left behind oils that add to the depth of wetness of the paint. Don't expect it to last long though. Gold class is notorious for losing slickness and reflections with as little as 2-3 washes. I would've used Meguiar's NXT paste seeing as you were going for the OTC approach and the nxt paste would've given you better metallic flake pop. Plus it wouldve lasted longer.
