Dremel does wonders as far as polishing rims out, but our wheels are painted, so the problem area will still be visible.
And our wheels won't rust anyway.

i scratched the hell out of my 19 inch konigs.. i was pissed cuz im an idiot and i was all worried about this bitch when i did it... anyways you can try sanding it down.. thats what i did with mine.. and are you sure the stock rims are painted?? if not just sand it and if it is sanding will make it smooth and remover any black rubbing... just start withy like a 120 grit and then finish with like a 240-300 grit

there was a post on how to fix it.. you sand it down clean it then bondo it then primer then spray alloy silver paint and everything looks the same. It looks just as if they were brand new. You might want to try a search to find it. Good Luck
