I want to hook up my iPod to my '06 tC, but I don't want to use those worthless FM modulators. I would like to buy a directly connecting device like an interface adapter. Does anyone have any experience or advice about what I should use. I'd like to stay below $100 bucks if possible. So far, this is all I can find for less than $100 ---> click here to see circuit city page

edit - I just found out about the audio input in the armrest. Can I use a normal 3mm jack to connect to the stereo?

If you don't have the iPod H/U in the 06. then just use the audio input. You will have to change the songs through the iPod but its better then the FM transmitter.

I think the panasonic plugs right the back of stereo giving you full control of the iPod.
