I did a sewarch for this topic but I couldnt find anything. I can't believe I am the only person this is happening to. I noticed that the middle rear of the cover( closed to the rear bumper) is sagging. It must be an 1" now. I am guessing it is from the sun coming in the rear window. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this something my warranty will cover?

My cargo cover has been sagging as well, it bends in, not just from weight but from INTENSE HEAT...

why?

Instead of using a thin balsa wood enforced with something heat resistent and thick. they decide to use a THIN BENDABLE plastic usually used to melt and form.... LOL. So its bound to happen.

THis is how i temporary fixed mine...i left it in the car in the sun for the whole day, and once it reached peak temp at mid afternoon, i toook it out and flattened it out by bending it the reverse way, once it was sorta straight, i put it againts a flat surfac (im guessing the FLOOR would work for you guys) and put heavy weights on top....... when it cooled down, it was back to flat...

keep in mind that my car, 3 weeks later, was saggin' again haha...

I think I will ask my dealer if it is a warranty item. If not, I will investigate inserting a stl. rod or thin wood thru the cover. Little things like this really piss me off.

Depends on months/mileage....this is not included in the powertrain warranty...

...i believe this is covered under interioir manf. default (it defintley fits the category) but its only covered for 6 months 6,000 miles. I THINK, im not sure. It also depends if u got the silver/gold/platinum/basic warranty.

I got the car 4 months ago and only have 4,000 miles on it. I will look through my paperwork & visit the dealer this weekend. I will keep people updated incase they have the same problem.

I have noticed mine doing the same as well . Infact its sagging so much that its starting to cause noises in the back . I am thinking about finding a piece of metal or something and creating a bar that will go across and figuring out a way to attach it . Will keep you posted on it as it developes

I have the same problem. Mine's less than 3 months old and has less than 3500 miles. The cargo cover rattles like mad when I'm on a bumpy road and it's annoying as heck. If anybody has a good (permanent) solution for this, please let us all know.

i fixed this problem by putting a great big speakerbox in the the back that went from the floor to just slightly higher then the cargo cover to keep it nice and tight. I didn't really want a stereo that loud, but i couldn't have my cargo cover sagging...lol
