Just get two long pieces of duct tape and tape it from the front of the hood all the way to the hatch. Hey, you can even see it through the windshield and the sunroof!Duct tape seems to be the trend nowadays for cars. See them everywhere. One lady I saw at the gas station had her WHOLE drivers side door duct taped to the side of the car (minus window). She got out through the passenger side door to fill gas. She was rich, too, with a decent car. Everyone just stared at her...But back to racing stripes... |

ricey? i don't think so. cuz most of the cars i see with racing stripes are america muscle types like the stangs and maros old n newer models. not to mention the blue durangos with the white stripes *shudder*. to me it's more wanna be american muscle-y. |

I've thought about doing some racing stripes in white on my Flint Mica tC. If I do it (doubtful) it'll go from the front bumper to the hood then again on the rear hatch, lip & rear bumper. Whether you think it would look good or not, I think we can all agree that it would be completely stupid to put it on the glass roof! Anyone wanna photochop some stripes onto a FM tC so we can see how it would look? ~Scott aka Mouse |

Putting them on the sides works for me. You'd prefer racing stripes (the kind you'll find more on pickup trucks than anything else) over this? |

What are you doing sitting on your car! If you do go with racing strips don't go with double strips it just not right on a import. |

I'm going with racing stripes.....but that's on my dodge ram, lol. It's a '96 and already runs a 14.8. Now I have the tC i can take the truck apart and stroke the 318 to a 390 and put some go fast goodies on her and drop her somewhere into the 13's....maybe 12's with a high shot of nitrous or F/I. I think the dual stripes look good on domestics, and I agree with everyone else....they look gay on an import. It's like seeing a mustang, truck, camaro, etc with that tribal vinyl down the side of the car.....it's not right cause that's an import thing. |
