Staggered Fitment?

What does Staggered Fitment mean?Thanx

Rear tires are larger than the front... ie 19x9 in front and 19x10.5 in the rear...ie: the lexus is300 sportX stock comes in staggered formation... 215/45/17 in the front and 225/45/17 in the rear.

Of course, you wouldn-t want to do this for the tC since we are front wheel drive. It is beneficial for RWD cars.

true, but sometimes a larger lip looks better in the rear... its been discussed, and to me, sometimes you have to go with style over substance.

Good point. Haha! If only the tC were RWD... Maybe I should get reverse staggering like all those FWD drag racers! Haha!

Axis Wheels make a few rims with what they call maxis lips that provide the staggered look without the different size rims. Check out this link below.Maxis Lip
