there was this canister i picked up at toyota that was a bug/tar remover. it said that it can be used for sap also. it worked wonders with my bug situation and it didn-t even harm my paint. it was only three dollars at the parts store at my local dealer and it has a picture of a celica on it.

Thnx for all the replies guys. At first it was only on my headlights and windshield, now its ALL OVER the car, I mean EVERYWHERE! I was thinking about pouring boiling water on it or something, but hope I can find that stuff at the local dealer parts shop. But one thing I-m really curious about... does mayo really work on tree sap??

Of course you can go to a store or online and find somethign that will REMOVE tree sap..... but i thought you were lookign for some home remedies that will save you money.... hell, i might as well have told you to take it to a proffesional detailing shop and paid $70 for them to remove it, lol....If you wanted easiar information, go to any auto-store or walmart....Pep Boys, Kragen, Checker, Autozone, and go pick up a bottle of whatever they sell there at says -removes tree sap-
