Does anyone know what the size of the interior front and back speakers are. I called the dealership and they have no clue which was really helpful....So if anyone is planning in putting new speakers in, just let me know the size. Appreciate it!

Hey, I saw on Best Buy-s website that you can enter in your vehicle and it shows you what speakers will fit your car. On Best buy it shows that the speakers are 6 and 1/2 inches. This is the link to the tC-s speakers. http://www.bestbuy.com/si...00%2Bcat03064%2Bcat03072I hope this helps!

the back is 5 1/4 and the front is something weird like 6 1/3 or 6 1/5... but 6 1/2 worked fine for me.

I was wondering the maximum mounting depth of the front and rear speakers I want to get some new 6.5 comps for the front doors and 5.25 coaxils for the rears. I have a 100x4 rms amp to put on them.I just want to know ahead of time if the speakers I get will fit and arent too deep. thanks. And do yall think that an aftermarket deck would be worth it. I am planning on just hooking the amp up to the factory deck and then getting the infinity basslink or the new small clarion compact sub thingy for bass.

sorry, i dont know the depth.but my opinion on the stock head unit. Keep it. Its aesthetically pleasing and goes along well with the car. There are SEVERAL ways to hook it up to aftermarket products (amp, cd changer, xm, etc). The sound is good coming out of it.I think the only way I would ever change my stock unit is to put an Eclipse AVN in it. *drool* But I-ll never be able to afford that on my poor college student salary haha.

I put MB Quart Premium 6 1/2 components in front and MB Quart Premium 5 1/4 component combine as coaxial for the back( which you can do as an option for MB quarts ) they sound super clear with a 4 channel eclipse amp. I have eclipse AVN2454 nav on mine for head unitit-s a great match.

TIA Dan[/quote]The way MB quarts works is that you can have the tweeters and mids as separate components or you can use it as coaxial speakers. link below is the ebay seller I bought from, they are good and speedy shipping within CA and they have the instruction scanned, so you can see what I meanhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...9&item=5738471535
