scionadmin New York, US Admin	I would reccommend buying a Valentine One. Its expensive but it works like a charm. I have been through three radar detectors all the rest were crap! DO NOT BUY A CHEAP RADAR. Always go for the best. Never tried the passports but heard they work pretty decently too. But I can say the Valentine has saved me many times. The range it picks up is incredible.

I think I-m gonna go with either the Beltronics 995 or RX55....does anybody own 1 of these models? yeah my older bel is like the 995.. it-s great, a lot of people will tell you valentine, but that design has been out for sooo long that the others like escort and bel have caught it and surpassed it.. you-ll be happy with the beltronics. i can pick up a cop using ka band about 4-5 miles away.. i-ve used the trip odo and yup 5 miles.. 3-4 miles around curvy roads.. always tells me the truth.. also it-s great to know what frequency you-re picking up (tech mode) that way once you know the freq #-s cops are using you can ignore the automatic door opener freq-s..

pillage Tire Changer	I have a Passport 8500 in blue. Its awesome. I got it for less then 200. I love where i work. Also becareful with the Valentine 1, its not just a radar its a scrambler and also illegal in more states then a regular radar detector.

713tC Window Washer	you can get a returned v1 from the website for 350ish (dont quote me on it) comes with all new accessories. just email the sales guy. had my 1.8v1 for months and has saved me countless times... especially on road trips

It Doesnt thats not true at all. It is only as Illegal as other simple radar detectors in some states :frown: i dont know why he said it scrambles? Most people are Jealous of the V1s greatness.
