Edi 6000-s and Factory Bazooka Sub Woofer

I recently finished installing my elemental design component speakers. They are the edi 6000-s amplified by a Nine.2 amplifier. It sounds much... MUCH... better than stock and i haven-t really messed with the amp gains yet. With this current setup i already hear shaking in the doors and some shaking near the back seats. Even my license plate fram rattles (now more than before). My point being; if i go with a 13ov2 subwoofer powered by another Nine.2 amplifer i think my Tc will fall apart. This is when i started thinkin about getting the factory subwoofer. Yes, it is a little pricey; i think its like $270 at mcgeorgeparts. But the custom box is just perfect. So it all comes down to the performance of the sub. How much base do these things have? Will it sound nice with my components? I bump mostly to hip hop music and i like bass. What are your opinions. I can get a very good aftermarket subwoofer / amp for about $60-100 more with an inconvenient box. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Greg

If you like bass, I think you will be dissatisfied with the Bazooka Tube. Especially if you were previously considering a 13ov2. I have never heard any eD products but many people praise them and say that they are very good sound quality subs that have the ability to get very loud. I think somebody said that the 13ov2 is comparable to a JL Audio 12W6v2 in both SQ and SPL. If you still want trunk space though, a single 10 or 12- sub in a sealed box could do you well.
