can i do it easily myself or should i get the dealer to do it? also should i go hotchkis or TRD for everything? i can get them installed as options when i buy the car if i get the TRD sways and the front hotchkis strut. but i dont know, i might want the hotchkis sways instead. lemme know which is better. im guessing they-re both pretty comparable.

Cranium, Once again, calm down on the posts, you-re starting new ones with questions already answered in previous ones...In terms of instllation, if you have jack and jack stands, you can INSTALL struts and sways yourself. Sways are a bit ezr, struts you-ll have to remove the entire suspension in front, and open up the back seats and such to get to the rear ones. IN retrospect, if you-re going to do it yourself, you mind as well lift your car and do ALL the work now, including springs, shocks, struts, etc. etc... whatever needs to be done while you-re udner there....so you can save money on the ALIGMENT youll need to get after installation.TRD Sway-s IMO are better than hotchkis because they are race bred/developed, and their specs are from prof. toyota drivers/studiers/racers. When it comes down to it, unless your a darn-d proffeisional or have a strong feel for cars (which in this case i doubt much of us have, though quite a few do) YOu wont feel the difference beteween the hotchkis on race setting, or TRD on race setting...
