Well for many people who like to -Do it yourself- jobs, I have actually bought an American International In-dash Install Kit from Best Buy-s Online site, and I figured it would be nice for someone to have some instructions or those who have fear in doing it and messing something up.

hopefully this is helpful.Note, you use the toyota wire harness that is squared from 87+If anything message me back and I-ll try to help out with other information... I will also be posting a site with up to date photos with projects that I will be doing with my car so I-ll post them here once they are completed.
here are some links to information about the installation parts....Dash Kits:
American International - In-Dash Installation Kit for 2004 Toyota Scion xA/xB/tC - TOYK969
Wire Harness:
Toyota 87 and up

As some people know about the switching modes of the Factory Pioneer Head unit it has the option of xA, xB, and tC. to my preference, I would recommend the xB cause it providers a clearer sound then the other 2 presets in the radio...if you are new and don-t know what I am talking about goto your car and look at the SPP Function you hold that button in for 5 seconds and bam.... the options to choose from (Use volume to change the settings)Word!

This kit is the same installation kit for the Scion xA, and the xB, its from Amernican internation, I think it works pretty good as long as you don-t have a head unit which has buttons that stick out far But actually Next post that I have will be picture - by - picture install with this kit, not enought time in a weekend to have it done....

It-s taking you a week to install? I think I-ll keep using the metra kits. They match the dash better, and take about 30 minutes to do a full install.
