avic d3 navi help

 I got my avic d3 installed and when I'm in navi mode, the arrow points the wrong way.

 I had it done at a shop. No clue what they did. the arrow points sideways so whenever I'm using the navi, The voice tells me to make u-turns n unnecessary turns.!=0

 Mine did the exact same thing until I tapped it into the speed sensor. Now the navi is accurate as hell. I recommend taking it back to the shop or checking if they did that cuz chances are they didn't..
