Sorry about no pics guys/girls. Someone stole my camera, but i will post some soon. I picked up some TRD springs from the dealership tues for $160. I just installed them yesterday. It's a VERY easy install! I'm a mechanic, but anyone could do this install with little difficulty. It took me about 4 hrs and i did it alone with no air tools. If you have a lift and air tools, I can't see it taking more than 2 hours. First let me say, I am a fan of slammed cars, but that was not the look I wanted... For now... I was looking for something that a tuner would notice, but the average person would not. And the TRD springs accomplished that look to perfection! Scion should've put these springs in from the factory. Because, they are not too low and the ride quality is just a little more firm than the stock springs. The TRD's definitely reduce alot of body roll (which you can reduce even more with sway bars). They also make the car feel more stable at higher speeds. If you choose to install them with the stock shocks/struts (like I did). They probably will wear out your shock/struts a little bit faster than normal. Because they have a slightly higher spring rate. Again this will have alot to do with your driving style and road quality. I'm not concerned with this as my car only has 700 miles on it. So, I would definitely recommend TRD springs for a clean drop and good ride quality. Installation is easy, they are cheap $$, and you can use stock/struts without too much worry... |

nice and accurate review. i used to have them too, not too low, but lower than stock and they provide a nice ride. i also agree that they should come stock on the car, or at least on the RS series. Injen SES Exhaust For Sale --> http://clubsciontc.com/in...d=24470&page=1#336549 |

I really like the way the TRD springs look. Very clean, and it gives it the look that it should have come with from the factory. ![]() "gonna wash my car before i take a nap.. can't rest well knowing i've got the entire cast of A Bug's Life on my bumper" - Vicious -- Want to post a "For Sale" thread? I've had these springs for over 30,000 miles, I've got no complaints at all. The extra stiffness at the back is a nice bonus. |

TRD says the drop is 1.3", i say it's a little more. especially after they are broken in. probably closer to 1.5"-1.7"... i'm sure eventually i'll change the springs out for something with a bigger drop. like i said i'm a fan of slammed cars and every car i've owned has been dropped at least 2.5". but for now, these are fine and i'm happy with the results. Scion's handle like shit stock and they are too high, so any suspension mod will make a big difference in performance and looks.... u feel me??? |

TRD springs are just right, they sure worked for me. I'm not looking slammed, just right. + the settings and spring rate are ideal for daily drives |

Personally, TRD springs are not low enough for me. Every time I see them on someones car I feel like i'm looking at a stock suspension. I just think if you're going to spend 150, then drop it the right way and not half ass it, lol STECHS FTW ! <3 ![]() CLICK TO DONATE & HELP MAKE THIS WONDERFUL SITE OF OURS BETTER! |

i do like how stechs look! i won't lie, they'll probably be going on my car after winter. but for now, TRD's are fine... with the roads in MA and my style of driving. if i threw on stechs with stock struts/shocks i'd burn through them in 5k... lol! i just ordered front/rear sway bars, and front/rear strut braces. when i get them on my car i'll let everyone know how it handles then.... |

sway bars make the difference, probably on of the most important suspension upgrades to be made. |

i finally got around to getting an alignment after installing my springs. only took me 2000 miles to get it done... lol! i had an alignment before i installed my TRD's and saved the spec printouts. nothing changed!!! so as far as i'm concerned you probably don't need an alignment after installing TRD springs... IMO |
