Does anyone else on here have a 4th gen nano that they use for music in the car? I bought it to be able to switch songs from the steering wheel but I can't.I figured that it would be backwards compatible however that is not the case. I have the upgraded pioneer stock radio that cost $389, its in an 08.

if its a pioneer the forth generation ipod is too old i had the same problem with a pioneer in my last car so i returned the deck. best bet is to get an alpine or something. so far ive only heard of the pioneers doing that so anything else and ull be fine.
