I just hooked sub up to my car and i went around my neighborhood to test them out. on the way back to my house my car started misfiring and stalled it kept doing this until i unplugged my remote wire to turn off the amp. The ride was at most 2 minutes long and i didn't have the sub even up half way! if anyone has anyclue of why my car is doing this please help me out. The amp is a mono block Alpine 500 watt with a kicker CVR 12" thanks |

yea im very sure i have it ran properly i just dont understand why it would have anything to do with my car stalling and misfiring. Maybe pulling to much power off the battery? i dont have a capacitor. i dont know im clueless.... |

ok i checked the wiring and called around they said it could be my oxygen sensor or my computer the 8 gauge power wire was next to both of these. the code on my OBD reader says P 0103. the code is for MAF or VAF a Circuit High input. is there any way that i could have messed up my computer with having the power wire so close?? |

I found out what it was.. It was the Massive airflow sensor was bad. so i replaced it and runs fine.. So it wasnt the speakers it just so happened to happen 2 minutes after i had the subs hooked up |
