My lease on my scion is up january 2009, a year from this january... i want to get a new car lol... i went to the nissan dealer today and he said my payments on the 350z would be 25$ more for every 1000 i owe on the scion. I was also thinking, wouldn't it be better if i bought out my tc and then sold it privately. What do you think my payments would look like on a USED 350z ($20k-25k). What are your opinions, what should i do?

Get the 350z...you won't regret it.

my payments are $343 per month. That's right around where my tc was at. I have better credit now then I did when I bought my tc

Haha, thats what Im thinking. If you can afford a z, never ask "should I?"
A more acceptable question would be "what color?". To which the correct answer is black

haha i know and yea its not this january but the one after.. if i can get it for 340 a month its... mine..
breakout- how much did your insurance go up
mayo- of course black haha even though white is sick
with 16 months left on my lease... what do you think the best bet to do is? Have someone take the payments over... have nissan take the payments? pay the car off and sell the car privately?

If you can afford it go for it! I like the Z a lot except that its a two seater, but i wouldn't like my payments to be over 350$, I pay like 200$ now lol. Oh and the best thing would be if you can find a buyer that would pay more than what you owe on the car now(dont know your situation), pay off the loan and cash left in pocket

How many miles are on the car?? Do you have stock parts for the tC? The dealership when i went to get a 09 tC was going to give me $8500 for the aftermarket shiz on the car and if i took it off i got $11000 for the car. So I took everything off lol .. and i had 47K miles on the car. Just do a kelly blue book on your car and see how much it says you would get and than just think about what you owe and so forth. .

Buying out the rest of the value of the car from the dealer is NOT the way to go.
You are better off just returning it at the end of your lease, pay off whatever you are over (be it miles or whatever), then put a fresh down payment on the Z; no trade in.
