ok im installing my progress springs and i was following rrimportracers guide, never saw that you had to cut the bump stop until i moved to where i had to do the front spring. Will it be fine or do i have to go back and cut it?

You only need to cut the rear stops with stechs

cutting the bumpstops is recommended but not necessary. IMO, i'd cut the front bumpstops rather than the rear.

If you're on stock struts/shocks, I would suggest leaving them alone. Cutting them with just springs runs the risk of bottoming out much harder than if there's a little more cushion. I bottomed my right front strut out with just Tanabe NF 210 springs a while back and when I went to install my TRD struts, I could see an imprint on the bottom of the bump stop plate (and a cracked bump stop) where the strut collapsed completely into it.

If you go ahead and do struts as well, THEN I would cut them in half.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

Well, i got the rear ones done. My buddies and i are taking a break for tonight, i think i may just take it into a shop and have them finish up cuz my next 3-4 days are jam packed with stuff to do. Thanks for the help btw. It took us 4 hours to do the rears and god i have never seen so much random sh!t that we ran into lol.
