2008 with IPOD issues

 I have an 08 tc and for about five months now I am been trying to figure out how to get the IPOD to work in the car, but it never does. I have it hooked up right, but its like the head unit does not notice that its there. Has anyone else had this issue or a solution to the problem? Thanks

 You may have to turn on the ipod control by pressing and holding the menu button while the unit is off (the unit should beep), then go through the options. There should be a tab where you can turn on/off the ipod control i think.... give that a try

 JUST had this problem with my 07. I thought the radio was bad so I had it replaced but it still didn't work. My problem was with the jack in the center console. I took out my waterfall and then the cupholder section and you will see the wire that runs to the jack. Reach in and unplug it and then release the clips holding the jack and push it into the center console, it comes right out real easily. After i did that I made sure the connections were all clean and I put it back together and made sure the connection was real tight and now it works again perfect. The dealership said if it happens again they'll replace the jack. Try that first and if it doesn't work you're still covered by warranty so have them replace it. Good luck.
