 OK so I am here in LA but my car is still registered in Nevada. How much shit will the cops give my if I got the HKS hi-power exhaust? So far I haven't been pulled over for my dark windows... I don't have any other mods really no intake, headers or anything like that. will it make it that much louder?

 not true.. no matter where ur car is registered.. ur still driving in cali.. u drive in cali.. cali laws still apply.. so pretty much u better be rolling in cali in stock.. haha.. just make sure u put ur car in neutral when u roll up by a cop.. haha.. so yeah ..

drive in cali = cali laws...

 when you register it you will have to go with stock exhaust, i have gotten palenty of exhaust tickets already. Last time i got pulled over and they made me pop my hood, so now i have to go to get my smog check at the highway patrol station. Now i have to take off my headers, intake, exhaust and down pipe thats sucks for me, DAMN CALI LAWS!!!

 you sure when you REGISTER is you have to list the mods..cause i registerd my car in WA and it didnt say anything about exhaust or nothing, i think thats just smog check and what not...

 o ok..well if u just have the hks and no mid or s or header, it shouldnt be that loud..u never know ith cops though..just be careful man

 cali laws.. has the more strict on modded cars.. so the difference between cali and washington.. is cuz its cali.. haha

other then that.. no matter what u do to ur car.. its illegal here in cali.. anything that deals with alteration of emission and noise pollution is illegal.. underglows are illegal when driving while its on.. HID's are illegal.. in other words.. click on this website.. i should break it down for u..

 i've had my greddy for over 2 years and have been pulled over but the cop didn't even mention my exhaust. it depends on why they're pulling u over. i was doing about 80 on the 101 freeway (65 limit) at 4am. told the cop i was just trying to go home n that i wasn't racing anyone or driving irratically n he let me go.

 yeah i did the same thing.. got pulled over.. goin 90 on i5.. and told the cop that i had to go back to my unit because they are transfering me to military police.. and he asked where i was commin from. i said down at the LAPD recruiting center for my backround and physical check.. and just told me to go on my way but to slow down..so yeah..

ur right.. just depends on how u drive.. most of the cops here dont mess with u anyways.. unless ur askin for it.. majority of the cops have modded cars as well i bet..

 yeah i got pulled over like 3 times before i moved to texas, got 2 tickets and had my exhaust on there, one cop ask me to pop my hood, and other cop just pulled me over because we were street racing around the country area and all of us scattered but he didnt say anything about my exhaust either, but the one that asked me to pop my hood, he pulled me over because i had no licence plate up front and a tint plate in the back, but yeah as long as you dont have nothing under the hood you good...
