the only thing i dont like "elections" is because there are too many promises.. you wont see'em done unless they are the choosen one.. but either or.. ill end up workin for them whoever it is..

yeah very true. i think McCain just pulled this lady out of his ass is all. i had never even heard anyone mention her name in the paper or in the news until recently.

We was known to some Republicans & people who pay attention to politics. I read her name in the news when she became Gov'ner of Alaska.
She's actually a pretty good pick because a lot of people (myself included) can relate to her & her family. I see her as more of a normal, average person than the others up on the stages.

The people in Alaska love this lady, when I was stationed in Alaska, over the 3 years I was there, people really seemed to like her alot and support her. Who gives a crap if she has an unmarried pregnant daughter, doesnt change how Palin will lead.

She really is a great VP candidate she bring a lot to the table; former union worker (as well as her husband), family values, daughter with down syndrome, son in the military, hunting and fishing, environmental concern, she has worked her way through almost every branch of politics including the local school's PTA, apparently she was also and established athlete, and to top it all of she is a strong woman who should sway some of the Hilary voters.

Even the fact that she has a 17 year old pregnant daughter. It makes ppl realize she is dealing with the same issues as real life ppl and can relate.

I'm sure that's not the only reason. Like we said before, she can relate to ppl in real life. She is going through alot of the same problems many americans are.

I agree with this...the democratic party wanted Obama to choose Hilary as a running mate but he didn't. McCain chose her hoping to get some of the women who were in support of Hilary...and in all honesty it might work
