Idle revving

After i installed my injen CAI when my car is in neutral it revs from 1k RPMs to 1.5K RPMs then back down then back up and so on. is this normal? any idea what is going on?

Does it just do this upon cold start up for about 2-3 minutes? If so, that's normal. That's a "heat cycle" the engine is going through to heat up the block.

If it keeps doing that all the time, that's not normal and you may have a vacuum leak.
