hey whats up....i am new meber to the site but have been lurking around for along time. i have noticed a decently high demand for rear hatch garnishs.....if i was able to get a hold of a steady amount and shave the emblem off and repaint to customers oem color or even send primered how many people would be interested. plus may opt. to offer a core system. like on auto parts. just a thought and wanted to see the kind of feedback i could get from everyone. thanks again.

i appreciate all the feedback, and as of right now i am not sure on cost still figuring that up, i obviously want to be fair and competitive, there will also be different factors that come in hand about cost like if left in primer, basic flat color, or painted to match buyers car color. i am still debating about a core type system.

keep the feedback coming and if you respond throw out how much you wold be willing to pay just give me an idea. and let me know if you would be interested in one in primer or paint to match. thanks again

I think this is a great idea, and like was mentioned above, I think you will find a lot of interest on scionlife as well as here. One thing I'd like to recommend is that when working off of core systems has put put many well intentioned merchants out of business because they go out much faster then they come in. I would make sure that you have a reliable, steady source for the garnish pieces and then offer some type of discount for people willing to send in the core. Waiting for a core return before you can send out the next finished product is not good business and has bitten many potential sellers in the ass because people are impatient and don't care why you can't provide them with what they've paid for. Best of luck!

Not to burst any more bubbles, but i-Konas review on ScionLife and the stories they are telling about customer service are absolutely horrible. If you were willing to give a competitive price, excellent customer service, and a core system, I might be interested after seeing one or two of the finished products.

The SEARCH feature on the site works, I promise. USE IT!!!

i've heard stories.. but honestly i need to see something in person before i can judge..

so unfortunately, that won't work out because i doubt i'll be seeing any finished products in my hand to judge in person without forking up some money...

which i won't do until i see the product in person and judge it to be worth buying.. so.. yea...

for the sake of records.. i'm gonna say no to both you and to i-kona (formerly known as delta customs) about seeing any business from me.

lol...dont order nothing from I-kona...hes ripps people off up the ass....

he charges 225.....then he lies about sending it to you if you complain that u didnt get it...then he takes forever to send you another one....once you get the garnish you still can see the oval shape....so its no point...i wouldnt trust anybody with this..i would just do it myself...just bondo and sand paper....then buy the spray can online...

i for sure plan on having a better quality product and better customer service, my main focus is getting the product at the level i and other scion owners will be happy with, i am not 100% on the core system yet but that is the least of my concerns, i want to be competitive with pricing and will for sure perfect it before i post pics or even offer a price, so bear with me it might be a couple weeks before i am happy with the final product, i have a few different methods i want to try on filling these emblem areas.

if anybody took the short few min to do research they'll see the unhappy customers are only 5% if that of all m customers. Almost 300 Scion customers and theres a few sour deals. If I was a rip I wouldn't be in businesses and wouldn't have multiple pictures everywhere of dozens of excellent jobs. Yes before I made mistakes but now am fixing them (most of which are already done and over with)

I guarantee quality and life warranty even if you smash it on the ground or drag it behind your car for a mile. That says allot right there.

There is a market for this, I myself am having a fellow member fill & paint my garnish with the OEM factory paint.

If you really want to sell, you've got to have some proof that we should even buy from you.

I would suggest getting 1 member from this site a severely discounted deal provided they take lots of hi-res photos. (just an idea, not required)
