 theres a muffler shop around where i live that charges 150 for any magnaflow axleback installed. if anyone is interested, holla at me. im not trying to advertise, just think that maybe you guys would be interested. some friends of mine went to that shop for their exhausts and they are all satisfied. ill try to find some time to go to the shop and ask them if they do group discounts. if they do ill definitely let you guys know.

 IS THAT $150 FOR THE EXAUST AND THE INSTAL OR JUST INSTAL???? i wouldnt hesitate to jump on that deal. WHERE AT?!?!?!

 sorry guys, never noticed the replies this thread was getting.its 150 for the muffler+installation. couple of my friends went there to get their mufflers, and they do great jobs. ill be going to the shop sometime next week.for those who are interested, its located in upland. ill give directions if you tell me where youll be coming from.

 yeah its like 1.5-2 hours drive from SD. so what? come on guys, i drove to SD for the pandas, you guys can make a trip here for the mufflers.

 Thats true. Me and my GF drove to the Zoo and half the animals where dead or sleeping or somthing anyways i know my exhuast will be there, not sleeping or hiding in the bushes behind the -dont feed the exhuast- sign if i can drive 2 hours to see a bunch of crappy animals you can drive 2 hours to hook up your ride.

 Haha! Don-t go to the zoo. It-s all about Sea World. Hahaha! Yeah, there-s nothing much down here in terms of fun except for Tijuana. TJ is the place to be.So it-s just the muffler, eh? If it-s not a full exhaust system, do you think it-s worth the $150?

 ok, just got back from the shop. the owner quoted me at 160 installed. the reason for the price being higher than other cars is because the fit is harder and he said it looks like a pain in the ass to do.and no group discounts...

 yeah, im thinking that ill get it probably next week. i just dropped my car so im short on funds.i dont know if any tCs went there yet, but 5 friends of mine have gone there for their mufflers and they are all very satisfied.ask away fellow tC drivers. i understand your concern...i wouldnt want a shady shop touching my baby either. if you want you can wait until i get mine. ill review their work and take pics for you.

 I-m looking for a shop around LA or Orange county that can do mandrel bend but had no luck so far. Do this place do mandrel bend or crush bent? All the shop I called only do crush bent and most of them don-t even know what the hell I-m talking bout.

Hey. I have a friend who just got a custom straight pipe at a shop for a pretty good price on his Evo. The one bend in the pipe was mandrel bent. I-ll ask him where it was and how much it costs. I think it was in Burbank or Glendale.I have a question though. Is it possible to do a straight pipe exhaust for the tC? Would that be like a cat-back making it illegal or whatnot? Do you guys think any company will release a street legal cat-back exhaust for the tC?

I-ll probably have a bigger diameter S-pipe done too if it-s mandrel bent.As far as your question on straight pipe, that is probably illegal specially in Cali. I-m going to keep the cat, just want a slightly bigger diameter than stock. Maybe 2.5 or 2.75, but I want to be able to unbolt and put the original back on if needed so welding is not an option for me.

 i went in earlier today to install my exhaust but they didnt have the muffler i want i stock so i have to wait until thursday at the earliest.i forgot to ask them about their bending methods but ill definitely ask next time i go back.

 ^im getting the magnaflow 14814, the guy didnt have that specific model in stock so he needed to order it from his supplier.

Sorry bodjie. My friend just told me that the shop is in Rowland Heights but he doesn-t know the shop name or number or anything. It was his friend-s dads shop and he got hooked up. Sorry I couldn-t get you any info.
