The previous owner of my car put TRD springs on it. I don't know everything there is to know about suspension so I was just wondering if TRD was a good product and if I need to put new struts on now that he put the springs or if I'm good to go as it is.

Your good to go. TRD is made by Toyota so it is of good quailty. TRD = Toyota Racing Development. Also the TRD springs will not void your warranty if anything ever happens.

I'm having the TRD springs installed tomorrow in my car. I purchased them because A) They are a Toyota product and wouldn't void the warrenty and B) they offered the smallest drop I could find. I'm sure you'll like the springs, nice they were already installed for you!

I have TRD springs and I have no complaints. They perform well with the stock shocks and are ideal for everyday street driving.

I think the TRD drop is 1.3" all around. Looks nice after they settle.

nope, even tC's dropped down to 2.5 inches do not scrape tires.

All depends on your suspension setup along with camber and toe correction.....also your rim offset.

I read the change was so insignificant I wouldn't need camber bolts. This sound right to you?

Your camber angles on a TRD drop will be within spec. Just have your toe corrected and call it a day.

^Yup.

I'm on TRD shocks/struts with Tanabe NF 210 springs with an overall flat drop of 1.7"

My camber was adjusted to .8 on the driver's and .6 on the passenger side (with stock camber adjustment) and the toe was corrected. Tires are still wearing nice and flat with no outer or inner edge wear.

You'll be fine, as stated, on TRD.

FYI, though TRD may be a part of Toyota..

most of its products.. are NOT made by them, but more products from other companies licensed under the TRD name.

(i.e. the TRD LSD is made by Quaife and was sold back then under Quaife's name until TRD acquired the license to sell them under their name.)

Camber is the inwards or outwards tilt of the tire from the top.
Toe is the left (outer) or right (inner) turn of the tire.

Camber tilts the inner edge of the tire at a certain angle.
Toe will turn the bottom of the tire out or in. The tire will rotate and if toed out, it will cross cut the tread from the inside edge to the center. If toed in, it will cross cut the tread from the outer edge to the center. You want to have a nice, flat toe but camber can be negative. Negative camber will help on cornering b/c the weight of the car will push to one side and force the tire to flatten a bit. With a negative camber, it will tilt to a flat tread. The toe, being straight, will help the tire travel straight and not cross cut the tread.

Here's a thread with some details and some pics:
