So I know a few of the differences between the 07's and previous years, but not all of them. Anybody got the scoop for me?

There were no changes until the 2008 model. The things that changes were head-lights, tail-lights, grilles, and the 08+ has a hidden sub where the spare tire goes. Also in the 07+ models you need a different CAI. I believe that's about it. Pretty minor changes.
Oh, and now the 09 has different seat fabric. That's it

The 08 + models have updated flux capacitors as well ^^ (kidding)

The 05s don't need those TPMS in the stem caps that you new tCs do. We also don't have audio wheel controls.

07 + have a slightly higher compression piston vs 05-06.

07+ have different MAF sensors and come with true TPMS sensors.

The rest is all asthetics.

Wouldn't be worth it, it's only like a 8" sub. You probably should just have a shop build one in for you. Then you can even go bigger if you like. On the 08's they moved around the spare tire, and tire iron, etc to make room for the sub. It wouldn't fit stock in the 07's.

O5s don't have side curtain airbags as a standard option.

The 07s are dry sump setups? Did I miss something? I thought all the 2az-fe engines were oil pump driven from the oil pan.

Ok this is new to me. Actually a little embarassing lol. Not quite sure what the difference is between an oil squirter and pump driven.

Oil pump driven requires engine power to utilize the pump. The oil setting in the pan will get drawn up through a filter/screen and then pumped throughout the engine via channels.

Dry sump has a central oil reservoir but rather than channels for oil to flow through, it has injectors that spray the oil onto the metal walls of the engine. It's a much faster way to lubricate the internals and prevent cold start damage and heat breakdown upon start up. Also, it's MUCH better at keeping metal internals lubricated during high speed turns and maneuvers...oil pump cars will become starved on turns where the oil shifts away from the screen. Dry sump has a constant spray on the metal during any maneuvers.
