I would like to get opinions and facts about what is considered V.I.P. Does it have to have leather and curtains or can it be something else? What is everyones thoughts about this pretty new fad in the car scene?

Are their other people on the site doing this as well with there Tc's. I found one guy on here by the name of "VIP_tC08" that has some great interior additions.

Of course pictures are welcome to prove your point and to give others ideas.

There's no clear cut definition to VIP.. But from what I understand, to be VIP.. You need to spend a ton of money to do it right. Deep dished rims with broad spokes with the wheels cambered out and the ride slammed. There's a lot more into it, but wheels are definitely one of the key points in VIP. That and you need an actual VIP platform to be considered VIP.. Such as a Toyota Crown..

EDIT: I just realized I posted almost the same exact thing as Vicious

I always thought of VIP to be high end luxury cars with really low offset rims, deep dished, camber and almost on the ground. Like modding cars that only a few select can mod because it cost so damn much to do it.

But that's probably wrong

No need to do any mods to this Bentley. You really ARE a VIP if you roll in this....forget the other junky BMWs and Aston Martins with big, ghetto rims on them and just go for the real thing.

Yeah absolutely agree with V.I.P being for those high end cars or trucks. But all in realality any car can be V.I.P. So what it is I want to know is what items are included as that style for the interior.

For me as far as V.I.P goes. I have the the straggered wheels with the deep lips but I think there not deep enough. Haha. For the interior I've got just about all suede interior. I could slam my car down on the coilovers I have.

Its not a bad start but other things I'm interested in getting are curtains, leather/suede sits, carpc for the rear people and some other things.

Keep the comments coming.

in my opinion having a V.I.P. tC, is pretty much what you make of it, dont go by what others have, if you like it then go for it...but don't get me wrong having examples to go bye sure do help

VIP = Very Important Person(s)

To stick with that, YOU would have to be very important. I don't think many Scion owners (other than Chris Rado, but even that's a stretch) are "very important" and could hold that title though....just a thought.

modified mag some dude VIP'd his 240sx, they also did a honda accord in car tuner or whatever that side mag is, it has nothing to do with how expensive the car is just how expensive you can make the car look along with doin the drop and the wheels...put it this way...if you can roll up to the club in an old honda accord (you know the one)slammed to the floor on some fat rims and make people go, "damn who the hell is that guy". mission accomplished.

Wow.....this whole "VIP" idea for cars just became very trivial and poserish. Sounds just like someone who has no idea about exhaust modifications...."I want the one with the biggest tip b/c I want it to be really fast and everyone can hear me."

Pissing in the wind = VIP (in this sense)

I started a discussion about this on Scionlife a while back but the majority of them said that a non-traditional VIP platform can never be a true VIP car. At most, the tC can only be VIP-styled. To be VIP, your car must be recognized by the companies that make VIP parts such as Noblese, DADA, etc...
Here's another discussion about it on SL:

I mos def agree with you all saying about this trend. I read those links you posted up. Very cool history background on how V.I.P began. Yes, a true V.I.P car must have four doors and consider mid to a large sedan.

I understand that a Tc could never be called V.I.P, but it can be called V.I.P Styled. Which is the level where I want to take mine too.

It would be great to have a class made up just for me at shows. Lol.

Alright lets keep this topic going with comments and more pictures of cars. Lets see some tc's that you may think or are V.I.P Styled.

I really think that FM tC (eujin) is the closest to VIP-status.. I haven't seen another tCs make a serious attempt at it.
